Announcements:

The Open Space and Affordable Housing Committee will hold two additional forums to present the Implementation Plan, including Tuesday, Nov. 27 at Village Hall from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM; and Monday, December 3 at the Beekman Arms Rotary Club Lunch from noon to 1:30 PM

The winter snow ordinance prohibiting overnite parking in the town to facilitate snow removal will be in effect from November 15 through April 15, 2008. For more details, please call the highway department at 876-6263.

Town landfill will be open extra hours on Saturday, December 1 from 9 to 3 to accommodate additional brush and leaf drop off.

Budget hearing for the Vanderburgh Cove Sewer District will be held on Monday, December 3rd at 6:45 PM.

Town Board review of proposed new zoning law will continue at 5 PM on Tuesday, November 27.

Public Hearings:

At 6:45 -- On the proposed 2008 $121,350 contract with the Rhinebeck Fire Department.

At 6:50 -- On the proposed 2008 $27,750 contract with the Hillside Fire Department

Old Business:

• Considering Cemetery Committee request to purchase a new lawn mower
• Considering Highway Department request to purchase a new law mower and generator.

New Business:

• Considering proposed 2008 284 agreement with the Highway Superintendent for road improvements.
• Considering meeting date for end-of-the-year budget transfers.

Proposed Actions:

• Approve request from Benjamin Fein for annual New Year's Eve fireworks display.
• Approving regular check disbursement list.
• Approving capital project check disbursement list.
• Approving meeting date for end of the year budget transfers.
