Coffee

I think the business district should be small and not bring in to much traffic. But it would be nice if we had a coffee shop.

re: coffee

i would love a little local cafe!
a place for casual social gathering that's not a bar!
unfortunately, there doesn't really seem to be a place for one...
maybe something could be done at the library?
monday & tuesday coffee socials?

coffee?

A little local cafe would be lovely for social gathering and coffee/tea is always a crowd pleaser; but then frank mentioned a wine bar and ahh that sounds delightful. Perhaps coffeehouse by day/winebar by evening would be the way to go.

Coffee Bar - I Agree!

Stacey Adams (and Max) - We would love to have a coffee bar - it would be fantastic, especially since I already stop every day in town to get a cup anyway. To be candid, without making a huge change to the business district, this is something that could easily be accomplished and could really sustain itself given the amount of commuter traffic, the residents that have daily access and the through traffic.

A Coffee Bar would be a great addition...

I agree with everyone that a coffee bar would be a great addition to the community. And I know the perfect location for it. Only problem is the owner does not agree and has shown no interest. As a matter of fact it once was exactly that....maybe they could be convinced to try again ?

I know who you mean...

If only they would, but they are not sane.

coffee

I would love to see a local cafe preferably with coffee, wine, bakery, wi-fi and a place to expedite that emergency milk/egg/sugar run.  My model is white rabbit in Red Hook.  place for kids/moms to hang out so they don't go insane and a place to read the New York Times and catch up on the latest hamlet gossip.  To the powers that be - Let's do this!
