Service Alert: Service Adjustments in Rhinecliff Amtrak trains due to Winter Storm

Due to continuing repair work following the severe ice storm in Upstate New York, Amtrak has made additional service adjustments to the Empire Service for Monday, December 15.

Northbound

The following Northbound Empire Service trains are canceled with no alternate transportation: trains 233, 235, 237, 239 and 245. Train 291 is canceled between New York Penn (NYP) and Albany and will originate in Albany.

Trains 63, 69, 283, 49, 241 and 243 will operate as usual.

Southbound

The following Southbound Empire Service trains are canceled with no alternate transportation: trains 230, 232, 234, 242 and 244. Passengers will be directed to other Empire Service trains.

Due to continued signal repairs by CSX, all trains operating through Rhinecliff and Albany can expect delays of 60-90 minutes.
