At this time you only have two real choices in selecting a high speed provider.

Time Warner has been plagued with outages in recent months but I think they may have resolved the problem. When they are working, they are very fast. I have conducted tests that show them running at about 3MB down and upto 300k up.

Frontier is your other option (DSL.) They are the local POTs provider for the area. The service is solid and works through the many power outages we experience in the area. However, it is very slow! My tests show the best it can average is 750K down and about 80K up.

I hope Time Warner is back to its old self, it really is better IF it stays on.

ps- I also find that VoIP works far better on TW.
